The Sanctuary Church
What Should I Expect?
When you visit, you can expect a welcoming, family-like atmosphere where people genuinely care about you. Our services reflect the heart of a Pentecostal church: sincere and passionate worship, Bible-based preaching, and a real openness to the presence of God. You will hear messages that are practical, encouraging, and grounded in Scripture, with a focus on helping you grow in your walk with Christ.
During worship, you will see people expressing their faith in different ways; singing, praying, lifting their hands, or simply standing quietly in reflection. There is no pressure to participate in any certain way. You are free to engage however you feel comfortable. Our goal is to create a space where you can encounter God personally and experience His peace, hope, and strength.
Whether you are visiting for the first time, returning to church after a while, or looking for a place to call home, we want you to feel safe, valued, and included. You will be greeted warmly, and there is always someone available to answer questions, pray with you, or simply have a conversation.
What Should I Wear?
You will see a wide range of clothing styles when you visit. Some people choose to dress in their Sunday best, such as a suit and tie or a dress and heels, while others are more comfortable in jeans and a T-shirt. What you wear is not what matters most to us. We simply ask that you choose something you feel is respectful for church, and we promise you will feel comfortable and welcome just as you are.
When You Arrive
You will be greeted kindly and made to feel welcome from the moment you walk in. Someone will happily show you where everything is, including the bathrooms, and offer you a drink if you would like one. If you would like help finding a seat or prefer someone to sit with you, just let us know.
Once We Begin, What Will Happen?
As a Pentecostal church, our services begin with praise and worship. We open the service in prayer, followed by around twenty minutes of singing and worship.
After worship, you will hear a message from the speaking minister. Toward the end of the service, we take time to follow God’s leading by allowing space for prayer while we sing a few worship songs. The service is then closed in prayer.
You are always free to participate at whatever level feels comfortable for you.
Do I Have to Give Money?
No. You are not expected to give, and we do not ask for money. We do provide an opportunity for those who choose to give tithes and offerings, but this is completely optional.
We Have Reached the End, What Now?
After the service finishes, if you have time we would love for you to stay a little longer and fellowship with us. Take a moment to chat, meet the people in our church, and get to know the community.
If you are interested in learning more, you are welcome to speak with our leadership team about joining a Bible study or even meeting for coffee during the week. We gather every Sunday, and we would be delighted to see you again.
